UK in Iraq, the beginning of the end


The withdrawal of British forces from Iraq will begin on Tuesday as the top British general in southern Iraq hands over his command to an American general in Basra. The bulk of British forces have to leave Iraq by the end of July

US official: Gaza reconstruction aid to top $900M

JERUSALEM – United States aid for the Gaza Strip's reconstruction will likely top $900 million, an official said, as U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton prepared to make her first Mideast trip as America's top diplomat.
